How to grant Flockr access to your Shopify account

Flockr are a Shopify partner and can help your store by becoming a Collaborator.

Collaborators are Shopify Partners who you've allowed to access your store. They're similar to staff, but they offer additional benefits. For example, Shopify Partners have access to training courses, Shopify's product roadmap, and other resources to help you run your business.

Collaborators can log in to your store from their Partner Dashboard or from the Shopify mobile app.

Collaborator access to your store can be managed and removed from your Shopify admin.

Collaborators don't count towards your store's staff limit.

Flockr requires minimum permissions to setup the Flockr messages for you, you will be able to review these permissions when Flockr requests access to your store.

To enable Flockr as a Collaborator to setup the messages on your site (which you will be able to preview before they go live), please follow these simple steps.

Step 1: Send your Collaborator code to your Success Manager at Flockr.

Go to Settings -> Users and Permissions

Here you will find your Collaborator Request Code, note this down and send it to your Success Manager at Flockr (shown below)

Step 2: Click the "View request" button/link in the email sent from Shopify.

The email will look like this.

Step 3: Click on the Flockr Collaborator

Flockr as a Collaborator is set to Pending, click on Flockr to enable Flockr as a Collaborator, you will review the permissions Flockr needs on the next step

Step 4: Add additional permissions.

Open the Store settings section on the Store pemissions (shown below) and select "View customer events" and "Manage and add custom pixels" (also shown below)

Step 5: Click Save.

Scroll to the bottom of the setting page and click Save.

You have now completed the actions required for Flockr to be setup for your store. Your Success Manager will be in touch as soon as the message design is ready for you to preview.
